Painting Workshop Day 3

Day 3 consisted of a live demo from John Poon. He completed a larger painting using two completely different photos. It's one thing to read about techniques, it's a whole other ball of wax to see it in person. Watching a professional artist work his craft, and explain every move that he's making in the process is worth the cost of admission alone.

Our lecture today was on design and composition. Best day yet.  

Here's the results of my labor today. Tomorrow I will get at least two paintings done, even if I have to work after the class.
