Day 50
Sometimes after having a meltdown with a painting, I have a nice rebound. I think this was one of those rebounds.
I'm very pleased with a lot of what's going on in this painting. I've been working real hard to improve my composition. I also re-accessed by last painting (which ended up in a bad place). What is it that I'm doing that doesn't please my painting alter ego "Maurice" (he's the one that throws paintings away)? Once again, I know where I want to go with my painting, I just keep stepping off the path and getting lost in the woods. Loose brush work, bright colors, somewhat realistic.
Speaking of paths, I named this one accordingly.
