Appalachia Gothic

2015 has been a busy ride so far. Painting, other than several workshops I've attended, has taken a back seat recently. I've made it through the rough part, now I'm full steam ahead. I have my first one man show this September 17th at the Art Emporium in Charleston, WV. Very exciting. Now I've got a lot of work to do. 

This painting is my most recent completed work. Traveling our region this year has really opened my eyes to the plight of many who call West Virginia home. 

PS: This painting was also included in the 2015 West Virginia Culture and History Juried Show and sold shortly afterward.
