I've also been experimenting with a looser style. I'm applying very wet paint and letting it drip. Then I come back in and work around the drips without covering up the patterns it creates.
Not sure about this style, I like the style you use on the paintings of the chef on a toilet, the funeral and Hope. But what do I know, they are still nice though.
